Conclusion of Participation in the UN Global Compact and Sustainable Nut Initiative (SNI)

As part of an ongoing review of our organisational priorities, external engagements, and long-term strategic direction, Alphonsa Cashew Industries has concluded its participation in the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Nut Initiative (SNI).

This decision reflects a broader realignment of our policies, partnerships, and institutional commitments to ensure that our external associations remain closely aligned with our evolving business priorities, geographic focus, governance framework, and operational strategy.

Our decision to conclude these memberships does not represent any change in our commitment to responsible business practices. Alphonsa Cashew Industries will continue to uphold high standards of corporate governance, ethical conduct, food safety, environmental responsibility, social accountability, responsible sourcing, and respect for internationally recognised principles across our operations and supply chain.

We remain appreciative of the work undertaken by both the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Nut Initiative in advancing responsible and sustainable business practices.

Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our own policies, systems, certifications, supplier engagement, and stakeholder responsibilities in line with the standards and expectations that have guided our business for decades.
